Paper Towns by John Green
After watching Green’s cinematic tearjerker, The Fault in Our Stars, in 2014, we couldn’t wait for Paper Towns. The tale tells the story of two childhood friends, Margo and Quentin, who couldn’t be more different. After rekindling their friendship as teens for a night of debauchery, mystery will tear them from each other’s lives once more. If you’ve somehow missed out on seeing Cara Delevingne stun on the silver screen, then schedule in a Netflix night with your besties to amend this — stat.

Room by Emma Donoghue
Irish author Emma Donoghue stunned critics with the release of her 2010 work of fiction, Room, and now moviegoers will be able to experience the story as well. Room tells the tale of a young mother, “Ma,” and her 5-year-old son Jack. The two live in a cramped 10x10 foot room, which is unusual. The strangest part? Jack is unaware that a world exists outside their safe haven. Released in October, Room is a heartwarming (and at times adrenaline-inducing) film that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe will serve up a modern twist on Shelley’s 1818 classic in Victor Frankenstein. The movie is a spinoff of the monster masterpiece, but still promises to pack a horrifically exhilarating punch. Radcliffe will play and narrate the movie as Igor, Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant. Follow along as the spooky dream team’s corpse creation comes to life and wreaks havoc.

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
Start working on your whistle — Mockingjay hits theaters in late November and the revolution will be resolved once and for all. Fans of Collins’s books know what fate waits for Katniss, Peeta, Gale, and the rest of Panem, but those unfamiliar with the trilogy will be sitting on the edge of their seats. We’re sad to say goodbye to some of our favorite dystopian heroes, but we can’t wait to see J.Law kick ass as our favorite braided heroine one last time.
