I came across a beauty video on YouTube and was instantly hooked. I've always had a passion for makeup and fashion, so the next day I grabbed my camera and filmed a video of my own!
What's your beauty philosophy?
For me beauty is a hobby that I truly enjoy. It goes much deeper than just putting on makeup and making yourself look pretty. It's a form of art and a way to express myself.

Most of my inspiration comes from just observing what I see around me. I love seeing what’s trendy with celebrities, in fashion magazines, and what other girls at my school are wearing. I’ll take those things and turn them into something that I like and want to share.
Who are a few of your favorite beauty gurus and why do you love their channels?
Meganheartsmakeup and Missglamourazzi have always been two of my favorites. Their videos are always fun and easy to watch, they give great tips, and their style is really similar to mine so I find their videos very relatable and helpful.

Right now my makeup bag is stuffed to the brim, but some of my favorite things that I've been using daily are the CoverGirl Clean Foundation, MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study, Maybelline New York Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, NARS Blush in Sin, and a Revlon Balm Stain in Adore.
What three beauty products do you find yourself buying over and over again?
I will probably never stop repurchasing Urban Decay Super Curl Mascara, Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream, and MAC Lipstick in Angel.

This year, I've been wearing my hair parted down the middle. I love creating loose, face-framing curls with my Conair 1 1/4-inch curling iron. The style looks so pretty and time consuming, but it's actually super fast and easy to achieve.
What was the hardest tutorial you've ever filmed and why?
My style is really simple, so when it comes to my tutorials, they're always easy to achieve for myself and for my viewers. I did have a hard time with a video where I was creating a look that's practical for going to the beach. I never actually wear makeup when I'm going to the beach or to the pool, so I didn't realize how hard it would be to find a full face of makeup that was waterproof!

Don't worry about what other people are going to think about you and make friends with other girls who make beauty videos—that's part of the experience! Some of my current best friends I met from making these videos on YouTube.
