Gems at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/libertine">Libertine</a>
Butter London Global Color Ambassador Katie Hughes created a one-of-a-kind gold shade for the models nails (which you can purchase this summer!) at Libertine. On top of that, colored gems that were also applied to the outfits in the collection were placed carefully along the nail. Picking up tiny gems to apply to your nails may seen tricky, but Katie has a tip to make it a cinch! "You can use a toothpick dipped in a little bit of lip balm to pick up the stone and place it on your nail," she suggested backstage.

Lace at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/Houghton">Houghton</a>
Just like at Libertine, the models at Houghton wore elements of the design's clothing directly on their nails. A coat of OPI Nail Lacquer in Samoan Sand was topped with lace from the collection. At home, you can use any scraps of fabric you have on hand or pop into your local craft store to shop for a foot or two of ones you like.

Glitter Tips at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/Nicholas-K">Nicholas K</a>
Beyonce's own manicurist Lisa Logan used Red Carpet Manicure's earthy green, black, and gray shades with gold glitter lightly applied to the tips of each nail. Make sure if you're recreating the look at home that you let your base color dry completely before you add your glitter tips so you don't risk smudges.

Emoticons at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/assembly" target="_blank">Assembly</a>
Nail pro Simcha Whitehill used Color Club polishes to create nail art that represented the theme of work and play. Some models wore playful emoticons while others had black and white polish with an eyeball (and lashes!) as an accent.
This look will take a little more creativity on your part, but everyone can draw a smiley face! Just use your imagination and incorporate whichever emoticons you feel comfortable creating. Use a black nail art pen for precision.

Pyramid Studs at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/Kate-Spade" target="_blank">Kate Spade</a>
Though some of the Deborah Lippmann designed nails at Kate Spade simply involved two coats of Fade to Black with a pyramid stud, other models got a trifecta of colors combined to create a gorgeous pink hue, also topped with a stud. It started with two coats of an opaque white called Amazing Grace. Then, one coat of I Kissed A Girl and one coat of Between the Sheets were added to form the final pink color. Each stud was meticulously placed 1/8 of an inch above the cuticle in the center of each nail.

Gravel Texture at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/zero-maria-cornejo" target="_blank">Zero + Maria Cornejo</a>
At Zero + Maria Cornejo, Deborah Lippmann used the gray textured polish Pretty Vacant from her new fall 2013 collection. The unusual feel of the lacquer came from a rather unique bit of inspiration. "When I was young, I had a cottage cheese ceiling in my room," Lippman tells us backstage. "For some reason, I started thinking about that period in my life and was like, 'I used to love that ceiling.' I spent so many hours looking at it and that's how this came to be."

Silver Moons at <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/about/Mara-Hoffman" target="_blank">Mara Hoffman</a>
A dark and stormy trio of black, gray, and silver polishes created this edgy look. Manicure maven Honey had a base of Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Lacquer in Onyx Rush as the base and Impeccable Greys and Petal to the Metal to make each moon at the tips.
