The Best Street Style From New York Fashion Week 2019

Last February, I wrote about the lack of diversity in street style. Now, a year later, the needle hasn’t moved much; there’s still a lack of diversity in size and race in these celebrated (and most of the time outfit-inspiring) roundups.

So we decided to do our own. Last March, for Paris Fashion Week, I enlisted the help of photographer Darrel Hunter, known as Mode Hunter on Instagram. He told us: It’s easy to shoot an inclusive range of subjects, you just have to make it a priority.
