The nail gurus at MARS the Salon in West Hollywood, California dreamed up this polish look involving five different countries that are competing for Olympic gold. You can choose to create all five or just stick with the flag of your choice. Forget gold, silver, and bronze—everyone's a winner with these adorable designs. All you'll need to begin is a steady hand and a few polish colors!

Start with a white base. Then, using a thin, precision brush, draw two lines in the shape of a cross.

Draw four lines that barely intersect each other.

With blue, create solid triangles in between each space.

Fill in the lower right quarter of your nail with blue polish.

With a flat, precision brush (this will help keep your lines straight), leave the center white while painting the outer corners red and blue.

Let the games begin! Outline each nail in a colored polish to really make them pop, or leave them borderless for a true flag feel. If you get tired of the look after a week or two, you can switch out a few of the flags for a brand new look.
