The Best Beauty Looks From The 2013 Oscars
Simple was the way to go at this year's Oscars and surrounding parties and events, with almost every young Hollywood starlet wearing lightly smoked-out eyeshadow paired with pale pink lip gloss. Though the minimal makeup look was clearly a hit, that didn't make for boring red carpet beauty. Each star used the makeup uniform of the night to their advantage, highlighting their best features with an extra dab of gloss or expertly placed winged liner.
Minus the intricate updos and false lashes, many of these looks can be paired down for a day of classes, so don't hesitate to recreate a few of your favorites at home!

The Vampire Diaries actress had the darkest eyeshadow and palest lips of the bunch, but the brown-eyed beauty pulled off the strong contrast easily. A simple ponytail topped off the look that was clearly all about her lids and lashes.

Though Willa kept her hair slicked back in a simple twist and wore hardly more than a touch of eye makeup, she looked gorgeous with a bit of coral on her lips. The bright shade popped against her fair skin, finally adding a touch of color to the sea of nudes and neutrals.

Anne's pink lips were slightly bolder than the rest, highlighting her sweet smile. Though it can be awkward to grow out a super short pixie cut, the Les Miserables actress couldn't have looked more chic with her forehead grazing fringe.
