Paris Hilton Just Shaded Kim Kardashian With a Single Instagram Like

Though he's no stranger to controversy, rapper Kanye West seemed to shock the entire world when he included a very controversial line about Taylor Swift in his new song "Famous." (When the song debuted at Madison Square Garden as part of Kanye's Yeezy Season presentation, it seemed social media exploded when that line dropped.) He continued the controversy when he included a nude Taylor Swift doppelgänger in the music video for the song. Everyone from Lena Dunham to Ray J (whose likeness also appeared in the clip) has since commented on Kanye's art, but two people who have stayed pretty quiet about the whole thing are Kim and Kanye themselves.

Kim's former friend, Paris Hilton, has more than a few things to say about the line, however. A meme has been circulating online with Paris's face superimposed on Taylor's and the caption "I made his b*tch famous," referring to the time that Kim once worked with Paris — she was a celebrity stylist long before she was a celebrity herself. (It was a photo of Kim with Paris that put Kim on Kanye's radar! #neverforget #kim-kar-dijon) And though Paris didn't regram the photo, she did like the Instagram, a move that is far sneakier and almost shadier, in a way.

Of course, this isn't news to Kim and Kanye. The rapper has discussed his wife's origin story multiple times in his own songs, and Kim has addressed her claim to fame on her reality show. Though it doesn't seem as if she or Paris will reconcile any time soon, let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we?
