Come See What the 'Princess Diaries' Cast Is Up to Now
With Princess Diaries 3 on the horizon (really, it's happening!), we got a little curious about what the cast members from the first two flicks are doing now. Obviously adventures in Genovia are hard to beat, but after doing some serious stalking, it looks like these ladies and gents are doing just fine.
There's no word on whether Anne Hathaway, Fat Louie, or anyone we know and love is coming back for the latest flick, but we can only hope. Click through the slideshow above to see what Princess Mia, Lily, Josh, Lana, and Michael have been up to post-famous foot pop.
Update: According to Variety, Princess Diaries 3 isn't currently in development, but that doesn't mean it's never happening. There's still hope!

The Princess Diaries and Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement were just the beginning of Anne's film career. After these two flicks, she went on to star in a whole lot more, from The Devil Wears Prada and The Dark Knight Rises to Les Misérables and Interstellar. No big deal. Don't even get us started on all her awards.

After The Princess Diaries and making every pizza sans M&M message totally mediocre, Michael went on to act in a few short films. But his true calling? Music. This guy became the frontman of the band Rooney and is behind the catchy songs in some of your favorite soundtracks, from music in One Tree Hill and The O.C. to Easy A and Palo Alto. Please go listen to "When Did Your Heart Go Missing" ASAP.

Though she's kept a bit of a low profile, Heather didn't stop acting post-Princess Diaries. After roles in a few TV series (Law & Order and Grey's Anatomy included), she has a handful of projects currently in the works. Her movie Sisters with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey is hitting theaters in December, and she's also filming the lead role in Are You Afraid of the '90s?. We'd like to add the third PD movie onto her résumé, too.

She's known for singing about being sweeter than candy, but the mean girl role she totally mastered in The Princess Diaries was far from it. After the movie, Mandy went on to make you bawl your eyes out by playing the lovable Jamie Sullivan in A Walk to Remember, then Hailey in How to Deal. And oh yeah—she's also a pretty great singer and has put out a whopping six albums throughout her career. But we're still waiting for a seventh!

Oh, Chris Pine. It's crazy to think The Princess Diaries: Royal Engagement was his first flick after everything he's done now. After stealing Princess Mia's heart as Nicholas, Chris went on to star in Star Trek Into the Darkness as Kirk, play Rex in Horrible Bosses, and made hearts flutter as Anna Kendrick's prince charming in Into the Woods. Royalty might be his thing.

After playing Mia's friend Princess Asana, Raven continued her hit show That's So Raven, voiced Monique in Kim Possible, has made appearances in shows like K.C. Undercover and Empire, and became a voice for the LGBT community after she came out via Twitter in 2013. You go, girl.

How could you not fall in love with little Abigail Breslin as a thumb-sucking parade girl in the second film? The actress and musician broke her bad habit and went on to star in Little Miss Sunshine, My Sister's Keeper, and can be seen in FOX's new series Scream Queens alongside Emma Roberts this fall.
