The Makeup
Bring out the boogie boards and bronzer next spring, because you're going to want to emulate the Rag & Bone Spring/Summer 2012 '70s surfer. "The look is about enhancing one's own natural beauty," says Gucci Westman, Revlon's Global Artistic Director. "I used a rich palette of terracotta, peach, and chocolate brown tones to create a naturally freckled skin tone." This effortless, sun-kissed look is moisture-rich and based on your natural skin tone—as if you had just spent the day under the sun wearing adequate amounts of sunscreen. A few simple applications of the following products are just what you need to get this beachy-keen look. Goggles not included.

The Hair
Longhaired vins looking for a dramatic transformation without the commitment, this one's for you! Redken Creative Consultant Guido styled a natural, bobbed look that was a nod to the rave culture of the mid '90s in London. He notes, "The key to this look is the bob effect and controlling the ease of natural texture—women are sometimes afraid to have their hair messy. Products and hot tools help control this natural texture." To achieve this look, first apply Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow-Dry Lotion to damp hair. Then, rough dry it. Create a messy center part and place a tight Velcro neck strap around the neck, over the hair to create a bob effect. "Most designers want an ease to the hair; ease looks glamorous, which is what we created," he says.
