How do you feel about making the transition from television to the stage?
I've done concerts my whole entire life, and so many TV shows are filmed in front of an audience. In my mind, I'm treating the Broadway show as if it's a TV show and a concert all in one. It's like I've been practicing for this my entire life.

Why did you select "Sister Act?"
It selected me! I was chillin' on the freeway, and they were like, "do you want a job?" I said, "sure!" I said yes because of the fact that it is tied to Whoopi Goldberg. She is somebody who I look up to and I love her work. I wanted to get out of L.A. and be on my own for a while, so it all worked hand in hand.

How long have you been in rehearsals?
I've been rehearsing every day except for Mondays. In my mind, I feel like I've been in New York for a year. I don't even know how long I've been here, actually. My time clock shuts off whenever I'm working. You know how you can be so involved in work that you don't know what day it is?

_ Do you have any tips for juggling the grueling schedule of the theatre?_
I'm the type of person that if I have a project to do, I get it done. I know that I'm tired when I go home every day because I've been trying to remember the lines. If you want to get something done and done right, you take what it gives you.
