Rita Ora's Makeup Artist Shows You How to Get Every Look from Her Latest Video
When we first saw the music video for "I Will Never Let You Down," Rita Ora's new single, we proclaimed it the feel-good anthem you need to cure your Monday blues. Now, just one week later, we're here with Kathy Jeung, Rita's makeup artist, to talk all things beauty. (Because, let's be honest, music and makeup go hand in hand when it comes to lifting the mood, don't they?)
Click along as Kathy dissects the four key looks from Rita's hot new video and tells us exactly how to replicate them at home. (Spoiler alert: There are red eyebrows.) Then, let us know your favorite in the comments section below.

The Black & White Look
"This was our very first shot of the day," says Jeung, "so I started with simple, clean makeup that focused on illuminating Rita’s skin and eyelids." Jeung began by patting the skin with cotton pads soaked in Koh Gen Do’s Cleansing Spa Water, then followed up with a generous application of Lancer’s Nourish Cream. This ensured a seamless application for Rimmel’s Stay Matte Foundation, which was enhanced by sculpting Rita’s bone structure using Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze and Glow contour kit (available Stateside in the fall; for now, try NARS Contour Blush) and It Cosmetics’ crème illuminator. "Then I simply added shine to the lids using Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream and painted on her signature red lip with Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Colour Balm in The Redder the Better!"

The Green Hat Look
"I wanted the focus to be on the eyes and the lips," Jeung says of the second look, which was shot behind rain-soaked glass. "She was wearing a bold green color, so we decided to do a ’60s eye with a bright fuchsia lip." Rita’s lashes were curled twice with Shu’s trusty lash curler, then two coats of Rimmel mascara were applied on both the top and bottom. Finally, a coat of Lasting Finish Lipstick in Kiss provided a durable (and bold!) pink pout.

The Red Hat Look
"This was the soft, romantic moment," Jeung says. "The ornate hat gives a very high fashion and glamorous feeling, so we needed soft makeup that still had a bit of a punch. If we did too much, it would have looked costume!" Rita achieved moderation with a bit of smudged black pencil along the upper lash line, a bright pink blush on the cheeks, and a frosty pink lip using Rimmel’s Colour Balm in Give Me a Cuddle. "Unlike the other lip colors in the video, this had to be very uniform with the rest of the face. It was very fresh!"

The Hot Pink Raincoat
"Rita had the amazing idea to add red eyebrows to her look, and honestly, it gave the perfect spice to the whole video!" Jeung says. "To make sure the brows stayed put, I used Inglot waterproof eyeliner gel over the brows, added a bit of definition to the eyes, and finished with a bright red matte lip using Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Lipstick in Kiss of Life."
