While certainly neat and orderly, Forrest's pre-makeover space looked and felt empty. Since preparing for a study-abroad program in Rome left Forrest little time to decorate, Lela Rose and vowed that by the time she stepped back on American soil, Forrest would have an entirely new room to call her own.
