Blogger Analisa Nguyen Of Rouge Fox Gives Us The Rundown On Her Eclectic Look
Blogger Analisa Nguyen of Rouge Fox first caught our eye because of her standout Fashion Click posts. The fashion merchandising student has a look that's at once polished and relad, fitting for her California roots.
Her blog has morphed into an outline of her personal style since she started it back in 2009, so we asked Analisa to give us the deets on her wide-ranging wardrobe inspiration, favorite designers (all Chloé everything, please), and how she captures the chic photos on her site. Read on to learn more about the girl behind Rouge Fox, and to see some of her very best outfits.

Why did you decide to start a personal style blog?
When I first began my blog, my heart was set on becoming a journalist. I just wanted a creative outlet to dump my thoughts on at the time, and it never dawned on me that my blog would evolve into something as fashion and style-focused as it is today. Fashion has always been a form of art and self-expression for me, so I guess "Rouge Fox" just naturally steered towards the direction of a personal style blog the moment I started documenting my outfits!
What's the story behind the name?
My blog name defines my never-ending love for the color red. It's versatile, timeless, and in my opinion, a little pop of red in any outfit goes a long way. I'm also a huge Francophile, so "rouge" can't be more metaphorically fitting!
Analisa wears a Goodnight Macaroon jumper, Romwe pants, shoes and bag from ShoeMint, 80's Purple sunglasses, and a Michael Kors watch.

**What's the best part of being a blogger? **
The best part about being a blogger is that I have the gift of being able to inspire and reach out to people.
And the hardest?
The hardest part is staying ahead, but I love that it keeps me busy.
Analisa wears a Romwe sweater and shorts, a Lulu's scarf, Oasap boots, and Richer Poorer socks.

How would you describe your personal style?
Perpetually experimental and free-spirited with a laidback twist.
What or who inspires your wardrobe?
Pop culture, magazines, movies, music, and my environment. I'm constantly influenced and inspired by everyone and everything around me, which explains why my wardrobe is so eclectic!
What's your first fashion memory?
My pink and yellow, ditsy floral sundress that I adored to pieces in kindergarten. My parents let me pick out clothes myself, and I would always opt for that dress to wear to school! They ended up hiding it because I wore it so often (and my teacher was getting concerned)...but I found it the next day. And rocked it with my matching hot pink Barbie backpack.
Analisa wears an Akira top, Sheinside skirt, Aldo boots, Forever 21 floppy fedora and socks, Bollare necklace, and a Chicwish bag.

Who are your favorite designers?
Helmet Lang for futuristic yet minimalistic pieces, Michael Kors for casual luxury, and Chloé for just about everything.
Where do you like to shop?
Everywhere from thrift shops to fast fashion spots such as Zara, Mango, and Topshop to places like Opening Ceremony and Creatures of Comfort. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to shopping and always check out boutiques I'm unfamiliar with. Why restrict yourself to certain stores when it only limits your creativity?
What is your most-worn piece of clothing?
It takes a bit of self-control for me to not pair my black American Apparel riding pants with every top I own. It's just one of those throw-on-and-go staple pieces that's completely foolproof with anything.
Analisa wears a Sheinside sweater, No Rest for Bridget shorts, MIA boots, and a Grafea bag.

How do you capture your outfits each day?
Sometimes my amazing bro-tographer, whom I'm eternally grateful for, takes my picture. Other times, my favorite neighbor (and one of my closest friends) Kathyrn does it. They are two people who I can always rely on to take outfit shots for me!
What camera do you use?
Sony A100. For a dSLR, it's incredibly easy to use and budget-friendly.
Analisa wears a Lavish Alice sweater, Mango shirt, Motel Rocks skirt, Topshop beanie, ASOS socks, and Oasap boots.

What are your favorite fashion sites or blogs?
Some of my all-time favorite fashion blogs are Cocorosa, Kayture, and Gary Pepper Vintage. I’d do everything to trade wardrobes with any of those girls!
What do you do when you’re not blogging?
I juggle school full-time as a fashion merchandising student and work full-time at a four-star hotel right next to Disneyland. On my days off, my favorite things to do include trying out new restaurants, taking road trips up and down Pacific Coast Highway, wandering through flea markets, daydreaming, and venturing somewhere — anywhere — outdoors.
Analisa wears a Sugarlips jumpsuit, Nollie cardigan, Dexter sandals, Forever 21 floppy fedora, Romwe bag, and 80’s Purple sunglasses.
