There Was Some Serious Style at the SAG Awards—See the Best of the Red Carpet Here

The SAGs might as well stand for the Serious Actors Gala because it's a fancy buttoned-up awards show where industry peeps give each other awards for a job well done—and when actors give other actors props, it's a big deal.

A bigger deal? The red carpet. Jennifer Lawrence looked ravishing in iridescent sequins by—who else?!—Dior, while fellow best supporting actress nominee (and fellow contender for best dressed) Lupita Nyong'o wore a gorgeous turquoise Gucci gown. The Modern Family stars are always game for a big style moment or two, and tonight was no exception. Ariel Winter was extra fancy in a floral frock, and Sarah Hyland wore a pink Pamella Roland number that was among the prettiest dresses on the red carpet. Emilia Clarke looked stunning in custom Calvin Klein, but it was Maisie Williams, Game of Thrones actress and rising style star, who was the real breakout of the night wearing a super chic white gown.

So with People's Choice, the Golden Globes, Critics' Choice, and now SAG behind us, it's time to start the great Oscar countdown—and tonight sure set the bar high.
