Makeup Artist Sara Glick Shares What's in her Cosmetic Bag
Sara Glick, an artist-turned-makeup-artist, was painting and studying democracy and media at college in New York City when she first realized she was interested in a very different career path. "I was friends with a guy at the time whose family friend is a very well known makeup artist named Charlotte Tilbury," explains Sara. "She was kind enough to let me go with her on a few jobs and it really sparked an interest in me."
From there, Sara bought products, brushes, and a makeup kit and off she went. "I took a different path than the assistant route, which can take a little bit longer," says Sara. "I feel so much more whole because I did it that way. No one really structured my career better than I thought I could. Sometimes it's hard to do things when no one else is supporting your way, but it worked out."
