Selena Gomez's Puma Collection Is Finally Available for Purchase

Selena Gomez has been taking somewhat of a hiatus from Instagram in recent months, until now, as she’s just debuted a brand new addition to her current Puma collection on the brand’s social media platform. Captioned “California dreaming. 💭Available 2/1,” the post depicts the singer lounging on a bright blue mattress in a sparse bedroom, wearing a black sporty mini dress and pale pink sneakers.

On November 27, Puma posted a cryptic video on their Instagram account, featuring Selena Gomez and a slew of other self-assured women and girls, all describing themselves in a single word, like “strong.” It was the first we had seen in announcement of Selena’s latest collaboration with the brand, SG x Puma, in a collection that they are calling “Strong Girls.” In a press release, Puma wrote, “it’s not just a collection, but also a statement of strength and confidence for today’s girls.”

Selena Gomez opened up about the design process in an exclusive quote shared with Teen Vogue: “The design process with PUMA has been great, a lot has changed from our first meeting, but the whole process has been fascinating," she explained. "The first idea was to only do shoes, but now, we have an entire collection." Selena Gomez was quite hands-on during the design process, giving feedback on almost every detail of her activewear line. "It’s been such an incredible ride, from having the design meetings, to having to pick colors, silhouettes, accessories, and patterns," she revealed. Yes, she's enamored with the look of each item, from the netted sports bra to the three-tone leggings, but what resonates most is the message behind the line. "I’m sure everyone will love every single detail," she said, "and besides, the story behind it is very close to me — helping girls find their strength.”
