Blogger Of The Moment: Sincerely Jules

It's impossible not to love a girl who pairs pencil skirts with Chucks and brand new Gap with vintage Gucci, but that only begins to explain our adoration for Julie. The self-described "creative type" started sincerelyjules.com as a creative outlet when she was a student at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and has been posting her stylish outfits and fashion inspiration since.
As if attending fancy events, posing for ad campaigns, and blogging from Fashion Week doesn't keep her busy enough, Julie also designs quirky screenprint tees emblazoned with inspiring sayings like her motto "dream, achieve believe." Creative, indeed!

**What is the story behind your blog's title? **
I had a tough time coming up with a blog name and kept jotting down names on my notebook and it finally dawned on me to call it Sincerely, Jules—as if I'm signing off from my everyday journal. SJ is my open visual diary where I share everything and anything that I love.

**If your blog had a mission statement, what would it be? **
My blog’s motto is to Dream, Believe, Achieve. I firmly believe that we should always dream big, believe in each of our dreams and aim to achieve them! It even inspired me to make my own t-shirt, available here!
**What do you do when you’re not blogging? **
When I’m not blogging, I’m usually attending events, working and shipping orders for my online store, attending my zumba class, and just having fun!

**How would you describe your style? **
Laid-back chic! I don't like to look too put together, but you can most certainly see a lot of California in my style.
**Who inspires your wardrobe and why? **
Not necessarily who but more of —movies, music, flea markets, fabrics, places and everything in between! I feel like being inspired by things you find cool and intriguing can definitely trigger a different look each day!

Any advice for anyone who wants to start her or his own blog?
My main word of advice I always have for someone who wants to start a blog is to stay true to who you are and what you believe in. This blogging world can be quite the dream job but you have to know how to stay focus, driven, passionate and the hardest? Consistent! Lastly, be unique- there's hundreds of thousands of blogs so you have to find your niche and not be afraid to be different and speak your mind for you to stand out and have fun!

**What are the best aspects of running your own blog? What are the hardest aspects? **
Best aspects are the amazing opportunities you can have like working with your fave brands and designers, collaborations, photoshoots and campaigns, traveling, fashion week, plus meeting so many cool people along the way who you look up to.
The hardest aspect is dealing with companies, brands, and PR people that want to take advantage of you and your blog.
