Victoria Lewis, Assistant Fashion News Editor: "My boss, senior fashion news director Jane Keltner de Valle, got me a bottle of Santa Maria Novella Rose Water while traveling in Italy for a shoot. A few months ago, I read that it could be used as a toner. I’ve never really gotten into toner but I decided to give it a try. It has literally worked wonders for my skin, and as an added bonus I smell like roses all day!"

Elaine Welteroth, Beauty and Health Director: "I’m all for a high-low beauty regimen. My philosophy: save on cleansers (think about it—they get washed down the drain in seconds anyway). And splurge on a great, targeted serum that addresses your specific skin needs all day and night. My totally-worth-the-splurge serum at the moment? Chanel’s Le Jour De Chanel. It contains salicylic acid to gently clear out clogged pores and it leaves my skin with a radiant finish. (Bonus points for the heavenly scent.) Now for the steal: I swear by Simple’s Foaming Cleanser. Gets the job done better than any fancy cleanser I’ve tried. It even removes super-stubborn eye makeup and leaves my skin feeling clean without over drying...all for under six bucks!"

Phillip Picardi, Assistant Beauty Editor: "Joanna Vargas, who does Emma Stone's facials, once told me that drying your face with paper towels is ideal. They don't harbor bacteria like your typical bathroom towels (yuck), and they're nice and gentle. Plus, you'll be less prone to rubbing them vigorously against your skin, which can cause irritation. I also recently got a great skin tip from the folks at Neal's Yard. They told me to put rose water—a known soother and beauty panacea—in ice cube trays, wrap it in a muslin cloth, and use as a gentle eoliant. You totally just glow and go after. It's delightful and super DIY."

Mary Kate Steinmiller, Senior Fashion Market Editor: "I'm a sugar addict and candy queen, and known for it! Unfortunately my skin paid the price. I finally 'grew up' this year, and cut back on my candy consumption, and my skin improved. It's not just something doctors say to keep you away from dessert, and it's not all in my head—sugar really is bad for your skin. Save sweets for an occasional actual treat, and your skin will be very happy!"

Betsy Mullinix, Associate Photo Editor: "I like to use coconut oil after I shower. It’s super moisturizing, smells great, and enhances the scent of my favorite perfume, Bronze Goddess (I smell like summer year round). It’s great for traveling because I can use it to take care of frizz, or I can mix a little with sugar to create an eoliator. And it takes off eye makeup too! I’m just obsessed with oils. They do wonders for my combination/acne-prone skin. I also use the Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil when my face is a little damp, and the oil absorbs quickly without feel greasy."

Naomi Nevitt, Online Editorial Director: "I like to use products that are all natural. (I’m a California hippie at heart!) Dr. Alkaitis’s line is my favorite because I actually understand where all the ingredients come from. His masks are my Sunday night ritual. Also, fish oil and a good multi-vitamin are a must for good skin from the inside out."

Avery Spofford, Assistant to the Managing Editor: "Not washing my face in the morning has really helped my dry skin. And the Vaseline Lip Therapy tub completely saves my lips at night!"

Eden Univer, Assistant Online Beauty Editor: "I have very combination skin (dry in some parts, but very oily in my t-zone), so I apply different products on separate parts of my face. For example, I’ll use Cetaphil Oil-Free Oil Control Moisturizer with SPF 30 on my forehead, the bridge of my nose, and the point of my chin. Then I’ll take Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ and use that around my mouth, on my cheeks, and down my neck. It seems a little silly, but it keeps my skin feeling balanced and my grease levels under control."

Julia Rubin, Associate Online Fashion Features Editor: "I keep all of my face masks in the fridge. I don’t know if it necessarily helps them stay fresher, but it does make them feel that much better when applied! This is particularly helpful during the sweltering New York summer. My favorite face masks are these amazing (and expensive) SK-II ones. To really get the bang for my buck, I save the excess serum from the individually-sealed pouches in a plastic baggie in my fridge. You can easily get another two or three treatments out of each mask! Finally, Clarisonic, Clarisonic, Clarisonic! Editors can sounds like a broken record when it comes to this wonder brush, but trust me: It seriously rules. It gets my skin cleaner and smoother than any eoliator on the market. I like the Mia because it’s small but gets the job done."

Drew Elovitz, Social Media Manager: "I love my Clarisonic because it makes my skin feel super clean, smooth, and breakout-free. I use it every night with a neutral cleanser (currently Philosophy’s Purity Cleanser, but Cetaphil works well too). And I got the mini version so I can always bring it along when I travel. I wish they made this when I was in high school!"
