Getting Shaggy
A cooler take on the ubiquitous lob haircut? Grungy, shaggy, slightly wavy hair! Go ahead and imitate models at Tom Ford, John Galliano, and Marc Jacobs.
P.S. Yes, that’s our cover girl Gigi Hadid on the far right in a camouflaging jet-black ’do.

Dark Arts
Spring’s graphic cat eyes are anything but basic. "They’re rebellious, fun, and easy to achieve," says Maybelline New York global makeup artist Yadim, the wingman at Cushnie et Ochs. Need inspo? Channel Twiggy, summon Cleopatra, or do a bold Bardot wing. The point: Try something different.

Warrior Princess
Here's a thought: Give your hair an origami updo for prom this year, like models at Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein Collection. A structural style will stay in place all night long and you'll look unbelievably polished.

Doll face
Sure, you've outgrown your interest in playing with dolls, but who's to say you can't look like one? Take a stab at applying falsies for the prettiest, doe-eyed effect. Try individual lashes just in the center of your lids like models at Altuzarra or across your top lids for the piecey look seen at Rochas, or go for strips for full-on drama like models at Moschino.

Outside the Lines
Play with your mani this spring. "Nail art doesn't always have to look perfect," says Sally Hansen nail ambassador Tracylee, who designed the intentionally chipped look at Rodarte, pictured center. Try a clear nail bed with a pop of color on your half moons, like models at Delpozo, or simply tack a strip of foil on a solid color, as seen at Erin Fetherston.

Rebel Accents
Being bad never looked so good. If you've got any visible piercings, you're already on your way to resembling the models at Alexander Wang and Anna Sui. If you're into something a little less permanent, fake it with faux piercings, like models at Rodarte, or paint a metallic stripe on, as seen backstage at Dries van Noten.
