Street Style from Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2024: See What Attendees & Idols Are Wearing at DDP
Fashion weeks are starting to dominate style conversations worldwide and we are paying close attention. While runways are an opportunity to discover new talent and get new treats from our favorite designers, street style is where the real, immediate fashion inspiration thrives. Before we stepped into "Big Four" territory with New York Fashion Week kicking off the international cycle, it was time for Seoul Fashion Week to show out and show off.
This season, we took to the streets of the South Korean capital personally to soak up all the street style inspiration from Seoul Fashion Week, and the invitees did not disappoint. With shows running from September 5–9 and despite humid and hot temperatures, we noticed guests at Seoul Fashion Week went for layering this season, whether via knits, fishnets, or classic shirts. Statement accessories — both in fall-appropriate colors like burgundy and silvers as well as more summery options like blue and the ever-present green — were also en vogue among attendees at Seoul Fashion Week, joining the predominantly monochromatic color palette usually preferred by Seoulites.
Of course, it wouldn't be Seoul Fashion Week without a couple of appearances from idols. Much like last season, K-pop sensation NewJeans were again in town to usher in the week as its official global ambassadors. Rookies Kiss of Life also made their way to Eulji-ro to support local talent, performing at one of the shows during the week and posing on the blue carpet wearing workwear-inspired 'fits.
