Summer beauty can be a hit-or-miss situation—bold colors, high-maintenance styles, and lots of product layering can easily make for a hot and sweaty mess. And if this week's red carpet appearances are any indication, even a full-time glam quad would suggest that, in the heat, easy does it best.

We saw the Jenner girls embracing the new season in two different ways: Kendall rocked her natural texture while Kylie avoided frizz altogether with a chic hat. We also saw notables like Karlie Kloss and Leighton Meester opt for barely-there makeup, choosing instead to highlight their newfound summer glows.
