See Taylor Russell's Complete Style Evolution in Pictures
This is shaping up to be Taylor Russell's year, so get ready for her to take over as your new go-to fashion inspiration. The actor first made waves starring opposite Timothée Chalamet in the highly anticipated adaptation of the novel Bones and All and has since been turning out look after look on the red carpet at premiere events.
Bones and All (or her burgeoning relationship with Harry Styles) might have put Russell on your radar, but the 29-year-old Canadian actor has been working in the industry for about a decade. During that time, she has honed her fashion sense and personal style. Russell gravitates toward classic pieces with a twist: fitted silhouettes in simple colors like cream, black and gray but elevated with an element of surprise, like a big bow, an unexpected cutout, or a high-low hem. On her, black and white is anything but basic.
While she does tend to stick to her signature palette, she's never afraid of bold color — including a bright green gown that truly made our jaws drop. She likes surrealist, edgy designs from Balenciaga and Schiaparelli but also favors timeless pieces from Chanel and Prada and lest we forget, she was announced as the new global brand ambassador of Loewe after opening the Spanish brand's spring-summer 2023 women's runway show.
Below, see how Taylor Russell's personal style has evolved and changed from her first high-profile red carpet moments to her stunningly stylish Bones and All promo looks and way beyond. From Milan to Los Angeles and back again, she always looks chic and perfectly herself.

It wouldn't be Paris Men's Fashion Week without Taylor Russell at the Loewe. The star attended the Spanish house's menswear fall-winter 2024-2025 show wearing a chic but weather-appropriate look. The star opted for tonal dressing, pairing a camel wool coat with a mocha faux fur scarf and the brand's extra slouchy over-the-knee “Toy” boots. To further accentuate the chicness, Ruseel wore her hair slicked back in a bow bun with her micro fringe impeccably placed and parted to the side. (Seriously, nothing is our lives will ever be a sleek as this 'do so we need a tutorial STAT.)

The Fashion Awards are an event to show off, and Russell knows this well. For the 2023 iteration of the event, the actor graced the red carpet in a sculptural look by Loewe featuring nothing but brooches from artist Lynda Benglis. She paired the eye-catching piece with a satin bone-colored pencil skirt.

Baby, it is cold outside. It's very rare that we get to see Russell's more casual style, but when we do, it's the perfect mix of stylist and practical. In the middle of November, the star was seen bundled up while out and about in London, wearing a white balaclava, a leather jacket over a red hoodie, and a pair of ripped light-wash jeans.

To attend the Loewe menswear show as part of Paris Fashion Week, Russell opted to play with transparencies and layers. The actor donned a beige (and sheer) turtleneck top, black leather pants, and a see-through trench coat — all from Loewe. She accessorized with a mini version of the brand's iconic puzzle bag and added a pair of boots from J.W. Anderson and sunglasses by South Korean brand Gentle Monster.

Taylor Russell graced the red carpet at the BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles one-upping the setting's traditional color. The star was a vision in red, wearing an all-leather look from Alexander McQueen’s pre-Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Sarah Burton’s creations featured a peplum-style belted biker jacket that perfectly matched T's zip-slit skirt. She rounded off the look with the brand's The Jewelled Hobo Bag, also in red, and heeled sandals.

Tapping into Y2K fashion, Taylor's 'fit for the Gotham Awards was casual chic. She wore metallic heeled sandals and low-rise blue jeans that contrasted her cropped white fuzzy cardigan. For the final touch, she slicked down her cropped cut, highlighting her short, blunt side bang.

For a gala event in Los Angeles, Taylor brought the drama in a high-necked backless black leather Alexander McQueen gown with matching opera gloves. We love the juxtaposition of the goth-inspired gown with her softly curled bob.
