Taylor Swift Proves This Is the Only Skirt You Need For Fall

- AKM-GSI1/7
Now that the U.S. stretch of her 1989 tour is complete, Taylor Swift has headed back to sunny L.A. to presumably spend some time with boyfriend Calvin Harris, or to catch up with her #squad, or, at the very least, to do some quality baking with her beloved cats. The outspoken PSL enthusiast was spotted at LAX earlier this week in one of her best autumnal looks yet.
The hitmaker stuck to her traditional crop top and skirt pairing, and why wouldn't she? When you can wear bare legs in the middle of November, you do it. She wore a grey Design History cropped turtleneck sweater, and a burgundy corduroy skirt, with one of the season's biggest trends — a buttoned-up front.
Taylor completed her look with a pair of black leather booties (which made her legs look even longer than usual), then topped it all off with another Taylor Swift classic, Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses.

If you're a fan of crop tops, you don't have to wait until next summer to keep wearing them. This season, cropped sweaters — cozy ones, in heavy knits and winter-appropriate hues — have taken over.

Thought the button-up skirt was only trending in denim? Wrong. Button-up suede and corduroy minis are a must.

Black handbags are also a great investment because of how versatile they are. But for girls who like a little edge, try an embossed tote like Taylor's or one with gold accents.

James Dean — and Joe Jonas, because, come on — are the original Ray-Ban wayfarer fanatics, but Taylor Swift has been holding it down for all the female fans of the shades for quite some time.
