At last night's 2016 Country Music Awards in Nashville, the stars that hit the red carpet went for a classically feminine look, giving us major prom-season vibes. That is, besides Taylor Swift. The pop supernova went for a glamorous, edgy look for the biggest event in Country Music of the year. Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, and the Final Five all chose billowing, princess silhouettes, Beyoncé went for a figure-hugging embellished gown for both the red carpet and the stage, and finally, Taylor stood tall in a sheer number that felt like the ultimate optical illusion.
