Taylor Swift Shows a Clever Way to Style Your Favorite Graphic T-Shirt

But Taylor Swift isn’t most people. So when we spotted scrambled letters all over her T-shirt we were hardly surprised — of course the brains behind “mom crooning”, and the celeb filled awesomeness of “Bad Blood” would put a surprising new twist on such a standard motif. The coolest part: The shirt is actually from her Chinese merchandise line for her 1989 tour.
What’s most genius about the look is that while the singer is technically covered in enough vowels and consonants to cobble together her next hit, the abstract arrangement of characters reads far more elevated than actual words. At the same time, though, the pattern has a charming quickness you won’t find with embroidered initials; think polished, with with a lighthearted playful edge. It’s a style you can count on making your favorite jeans feel more special, or dressing up with a skirt and heels for all manner of parties and dinners — really, the only hard part about wearing it is narrowing the options down.
