You might not know it, but the blue carpet at the Teen Choice Awards 2017 is one of the best places to get your celebrity beauty inspiration. Aside from hanging out and collecting a surfboard award our two, our favorite stars also take this night as a chance to have fun with their looks, bring plenty of hair and makeup moments that you can actually recreate — without the help of an A-list glam squad. Previous years of the TCAs have brought us highlights from beach waves to braid crowns to colorful lipstick. And speaking of highlights, this is one carpet where the attendees take glowing complexion seriously (think plenty of dewy skin and flawless luminizer application). With some of our favorite beauty girls like Vanessa Hudgens, Zendaya, and the Pretty Little Liars in attendance tonight, you can count on a lineup of must-copy looks. Lucy Hale
Hello, red eyeshadow! Lucy switched up the classic smoky eye by matching her makeup to the red skirt of her gown and it looked amazing. To keep the attention on her burgundy eyes, she rocked slicked-back hair and a major highlight. Celeb MUA Kelsey Deenihan applied a base of Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstickin Supurb Wine to Lucy’s lids, bottom lash line, and crease using a fluffy eyeshadow brush to amp up the intensity of the red.

Zendaya
Zendaya may have casually rocked pajamas on the carpet, but her beauty look brought all the glam. Celeb hairstylist Tym Wallace created her layered, bouncy curls with the help of Dove Unscented Dry Shampoo and Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray for the perfect combo of volume and shine. And to further solidify her status as glam guru, she did her own makeup, blending Covergirl's truNakeds Eyeshadow Palette in Goldens on her lids and creating her budge-proof lip with Covergirl's Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick in Gel-Ful.

Rita Ora
Never one to revert to boring beauty, Rita lit up the carpet in bright yellow hair and hot pink lips. We love how she emphasized her head-turning hair hue with some face-framing side bangs. "Rita is always open to having fun with her glam," explained celeb hairstylist and Mizani Global Artistic Director César Ramirêz. "I colored hair extensions using a custom mix of pigments to get the perfect shade of neon yellow we wanted." To keep Rita's cool style in place all night long, he used a combo of Mizani Thermasmooth Style & Style Again and Mizani HRM.

Maddie Ziegler
Maddie's minimal makeup let her sleek strands and glowing highlight do all the talking. She wore only the faintest traces of eyeliner on her lower lashline, pairing it with luminous, shimmery eyeshadow. Celeb hairstylist Justine Marjan used the ghd Platinum Styler to create a smooth base, then added even more polish with the ghd Narrow Dressing Brush.

Paris Jackson
Paris's look is proof that the red carpet offers the perfect opportunity for trying new beauty styles. Tonight, she paired her romantic, loose updo with the prettiest hazy eyeshadow — skipping her signature eyeliner and lashes for a far softer effect. Celeb makeup artist Jo Baker used the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow palette in Candeur et Expérience to create the warmed-up base — using an unexpected trick. "I didn’t prep Paris's eyelids at all," she explains. "I liked the idea of working in the burnt orange shade onto her bare lid and letting the natural grease of an eyelid merge with the color to give an organic and earthy quality. In areas where the eyelid has more natural moisture, the eyeshadow naturally becomes deeper in tone, so this was a way for me to create a contoured look."

Yara Shahidi
Once again proving herself the cat-eye queen, Yara paired her flawless winged liner with pink blush, glossy lips, and an updo. It's essentially her signature look — with some added polish for the carpet. "It was all about beautiful skin!" said celeb makeup artist Emily Cheng. "But, I of course can't resist doing a slight flick to accentuate her eyes." Her secret weapons? Calligraphie de Chanel Longwear Intense Cream Eyeliner in Hyperblack and the Ombre Premiere Longwear Eyeshadow in Noir.
