Inside Teen Vogue's Body Party Event at New York Fashion Week 2018

On Thursday evening, Teen Vogue teamed up with Snapchat for the first-ever Body Party event. Inspired by Teen Vogue's 2016 video series of the same name, the Body Party runway show and after-party was fashion like you've likely never seen it before — an evening of style the way it lives in the world, on the diverse array of bodies that wear it every single day. The event was hosted by Dinah Jane of Fifth Harmony who performed her hit song "Bottled Up" while celebrities like Lauren Jauregui and Ty Dolla Sign, Peyton List, Diggy Simmons, Nina Agdal, and Sofia Wylie watched from the front row. Once the inclusive cast of models, including Candice Huffine and Teen Vogue cover stars Mama Cax and Chelsea Werner, finished storming the runway, guests enjoyed tunes spun by Venus X, took photos on the famous Snapchat swing, and sipped mocktails like "Positivit-ea" (a mix of Elderflower, club soda, watermelon juice). With major influencers like Kelly Augustine, Kristine of Trendy Curvy, Margie Plus, and Teen Vogue's own plus-size fashion columnist Shammara Lawrence among the well-dressed crowd, Body Party was a night devoted to self-expression, body positivity, and creativity in all its forms.
