Books on Books on Books
Found in: editor-in-chief Amy Astley’s office
"I’ve always enjoyed beautiful books on art, fashion, photography, and more. As you can see, I’ve amassed quite a collection! I still go back and reference them for inspiration." One of her faves? Oscar de la Renta. "Oscar de la Renta was such a wonderful, kind man. I feel so privileged to have known him and to have had the opportunity to wear his beautiful designs."

Pointe Boards
"These skateboards were given to me by Henry Leutwyler. He is an amazing photographer who shares my love of ballet—his photos are stunning."

Wall of Fame
Found in beauty & health director Elaine Welteroth’s office
"I love collaging. One of the first things I do when I move into any space—whether it’s a new office, an apartment or my college dorm—is set up an inspiration wall. I think of them as physical Pinterest boards to collect beautiful images that set the tone for the entire room and help trigger new ideas. This one is a mash up of some of my favorite Teen Vogue beauty shoots with amazing talents like Guido, Violette, Didier Malige, and Sam McKnight. It’s busy, colorful, and fun—kind of like my job! Below it is a compilation of stuff that just makes me smile, like the portrait my former intern Austen Claire illustrated for me—I’ll always cherish it. That crazy neon light was a gift from Essie—my teen visitors love it. And the huge golden wishbone is just kind of awesome, no? It was an office gift from my days at Glamour that I couldn’t let go."

Love for Lagerfeld
"To celebrate Chanel’s iconic Little Black Jacket, Karl Lagerfeld designed a special jacket and photographed a number of celebrities wearing it—including Elle Fanning. I think she is such a special talent (I even interviewed her for our June/July issue!), and I think this photo of her is so sweet."
"Lagerfeld designed limited-edition dolls for a Japanese company named Bearbrick and gave this one to me with a note that said something along the lines of ’I’m a teenager too.’ It’s a real collectible. I love it."

Candle Craze
"It’s only fitting that as a beauty editor I love to pass products on for testing—but I call dibs on candles. Especially white candles! I have more than any one person could ever possibly need and I’ve tried to part with them, but somehow the collection just keeps growing. They’re little cozy luxuries that help to have around when I’m working late, burning the midnight oil (or in this case Diptyque’s Feu De Bois candle). They’ll be the last things I pack up and the first to unpack in the new digs."

Scent Station
"OK, I lied. Maybe candles aren't the only products I hoard. I love to keep fragrance bottles on display too. To me, they're little works of art. They each represent memories of a specific time and place. Even when I'm done with the juice, I keep the bottle forever. (I'm afraid this is starting to sound like I belong on an episode of Hoarders!)"

Powerful Poster
"This Fault in Our Stars poster is memorable because the stars of the cast like Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, who happen to be some of the most genuine actors in the business, signed it for me. The movie was also filmed in my hometown of Pittsburgh, which was exciting too!"

**Familiar Faces **
"This is special because I spent more time with One Direction last year than with my own family! We traveled to England with them and to Miami to shoot their cover. This photo was taken right before their prayer circle backstage before a concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. I just love them."

**Bieber Fever **
"These almost accidentally got trashed during the move but our production director rescued them and brought them to me because she knows how much I love Justin Bieber. This was from his May 2013 cover. He’s such a sweetie."

Stackable Storage
Found in: digital director Dan Koday's office
"I love stacking bos, magazines and books. This corner on my window ledge consisted of a bunch of fun bos I've saved (which double as sneaky storage) along with a Fossil Double Watch case at the tippy-top. I have tons of watches so I keep a box like this in my office to rotate between the ones at home and the ones I've left behind at the office."

Nice Guy
"I attended a Fashion Week event a while back and they had an illustrator on-hand drawing all of the editors in attendance. I liked how mine turned out because the guy (me, supposedly!) in the illustration seems to have a good attitude, so I framed it and I try to bring that same attitude to work with me each day."

Coolspotters
"Every editor will tell you how much they love the smell of Diptyque candles, but I fell in love with the look and smell of this of Voluspa Japonica Baltic Amber Candle. What says fall/winter more than that? The sunglass holder? That, I purposely keep in my office with a pair of generic Ray Ban wayfarers since you never know when it’s going to go from cloudy to sunny (or vice-versa)."

Book Worm
Found in: features editor/online deputy editor Jessica Pels's office
"I am a geek-level grammarian, and wouldn't be caught dead without a copy (or two) of Strunk and White's Elements of Style. Actually most of these books are about words and how they're put together, including Infinite Jest, my all-time favorite read. It's always good to have references around!"

Borrowed Goods
"I pilfered this Mulberry gnome from former Teen Vogue editor Jane Keltner de Valle, because how could I not? I love things that are weird and whimsical. He’s wearing our DIY version of a Dirty Hippie necklace (I think he likes it), and is accompanied by my neglected office plant Fred and a porcelain bear paper clip holder."

Cherished Moments
"This is where I put things that inspire me—photos, cards, souvenirs. In the top left corner is a note from nicest-guy-ever Jack McBrayer (of 30 Rock fame), in the middle is a picture of my mom when she was a teen (how gorgeous is she?!), and next to that are my name plates (my maiden name is Duncan) from my previous jobs at Condé Nast. There's a picture of me dancing in Cinderella when I was in high school, a really meaningful note from my editor in chief, and lots of other little mementos I like to have around. And yes, that is a bronze hippo."

Wall Art
Found in: style features director Andrew Bevan’s office
"This is a photo of Marc Jacobs taken by Francois Nars around 2009, which Amy Astley gave me. I will always cherish it. Oh, and the cowboy boots in the corner? You can take the boy out of Colorado, but you can’t take the Colorado out of the boy (even at a fashion magazine)!"

Sweet Everythings
"I have a pretty crazy, big bulletin board in my office that has collected a multitude of ticket stubs, thank you cards, and photos over the years. The hysterical Vogue cover mock-up was part of my going-away-gift when I left Vogue for Teen Vogue. The Miley Cyrus head shots make me laugh because she’s changed so much since then and the photo of Poppy Delevingne and I was taken in Saint Tropez and probably one of the most glamorous work days of my life!"

Throwback Board Game
"I love displaying outtakes and behind-the-scenes shots from some of my favorite shoots! I honestly don’t remember how I scored this amazing find [the Twiggy board game). I’m a huge fan of the London Mod movement. And the lady figure next to Twiggy is actually something that women used to cover their hairspray cans on their vanity in the sixties. I got it in Wickenberg, AZ with my friend Lauren from HonestlyWTF. It’s so Mad Men, I love it."
