2/13You know what's harder than making a rental feel like yours? Making the bathroom in your rental feel like yours. Shelly's (our head of commercial design) 1-bedroom apartment is a dream pad but she was having trouble making her bathroom feel like she wanted it to without spending a bunch of money on new hardware and stuff. A friend told her about Chasing Paper and she knew that it was THE way to improve her boring bathroom (no offense Shelly).
To decorate her entire bathroom, designer Shelly Lynch-Sparks needed 17 panels. At $35 each, her total cost for wallpaper was $595 and it only took four hours to install! Click through the slideshow to see the process and step-by-step instructions.
3/13Measure your walls.
4/13Measure and cut the paper.
5/13Stick the paper to your walls and press out air bubbles.
6/13TIP: Take off your light switch plates with a screwdriver so you can cut the paper to go underneath the plate. Then screw it back on! You're a pro.
