There must be something special in the water over in the UK because when it comes to producing musicians, it's tough to beat. We don't need to remind you that artists like Ed Sheeran and One Direction call it home, after all. The British gents deserve every bit of fandom they've got, but we think it's time to pay some extra attention to these under-the-radar Br(it) girls.
We know, we know: You probably already have an arsenal of go-to British ladies at the top of your playlist like Birdy and Ellie Goulding. And you're right—they're flawless. But so are the talented hidden gems in our list below, and it's time you get to know them and their sounds, too. In short, we're cool with letting the British Invasion continue forever and ever.

Elena Tonra
Elena's vocals are partially responsible for the dreamy sound of her band, Daughter. Originally from North London, Elena began her career as a solo act. Even though she's amazing on her own, we're super glad she joined forces with Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella. They're kind of unstoppable.

Bebe Black
Now living in London, Bebe's probably found herself surrounded by pop singers just like herself. But her music stands out especially, characterized by her unique voice which is supported by catchy melodies. You're going to be obsessed.

SOAK
At just 18 years old, SOAK, otherwise known as Bridie Monds-Watson, has already begun paving the way for herself musically. With a record deal under her belt and a sense of confidence that her raw, acoustic guitar-heavy sound will take her far, we're sure being one of the first on her bandwagon will only pay off.

Lucy Rose
If you like Florence and the Machine but wish they would take a chill pill, then you'll adore this Warwickshire girl. She sings with a crisp voice over soothing music that'll make you want to sit in a nook drinking coffee and listening to her songs on repeat forever.

Jess Mills
Jess, who grew up in London, has definitely seen the other side of hitting the big time. That is, the getting there. She worked in a pub to support her music and ran into label issues. But it all paid off, leading to her supporting Emeli Sandé on tour and gearing up for the release of her debut album, Twist of Fate.

Indiana
It's only been a few years since electro-pop singer Indiana, who hails from Nottingham and whose real name is Lauren Henson, dropped her debut single. And she's already had two chart-topping singles and a well-received album. There's no sign of her stopping there!

Shura
Aleksandra Denton, or Shura as you'll no doubt get to know her as, is conventional by no means. In fact, her music is so sonically diverse that her influences range from Mariah Carey to Pink Floyd. Plus, she produces all her own music after teaching herself via Youtube videos.

Eva Stone
To call Eva a powerhouse is to understate just how fantastic a voice she really has. Get ready to feel goosebumps when this Londoner croons because she sounds like she's been doing this for a lifetime, and she hasn't even hit 25.
