Urban Decay Launches Summer Makeup Beached Collection
When it comes to summer makeup and vacay vibes, Urban Decay has always had us covered. We've decorated our warm weather lids for years with their Naked Heat palette, and our lips have been blessed with their Hi-Fi Shine gloss. Now, the brand is doing even more than usual to prep our for a season of sun, sand and surf-inspired makeup with it's new "Beached Collection," which is basically paradise in a palette. The shadows (and ok, the lipstick and liners, too) are so good, they have me really re-considering my whole "no makeup at the beach" rule.
The collection is inspired by Urban Decays Southern California roots, and gives off serious surfer vibes. Highlights from the includes bronzer, setting powder, gold and copper shades of their bestselling24/7 eyeliner, and three summer-y lipstick shades called "Tower 1" (a light metallic peach with pink shift), "Heatwave" (a metallic rust) and "100 Degrees" (a sheer, bright coral-pink). However, the undeniable centerpiece of the collection is the "Beached Palette," which features bronze and copper shades with a few pops of metallic turquoise. And yes — it all pairs well with beach waves.
