Vivian Wilson Is Taking Over NYFW Runways at Prabal Gurung and Alexis Bittar

Vivian Wilson has made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week. The 21-year-old estranged daughter of Elon Musk has been devoutly interested in starting her modeling career, and now it’s here.

Wilson participated in the Spring/Summer 2026 Alexis Bittar presentation marking what is set to be a slew of runway appearances. For a recent theatrical fashion presentation, the notable jewelry brand combined social commentary with stylistic references to surrealist and classic cinema. Drawing inspiration from films like Blue Velvet, Carrie, The Virgin Suicides, and Eyes Wide Shut, the show reimagined "Miss USA 1991" through a haunting, dreamlike lens. Each contestant was intentionally cast to represent a U.S. state currently targeting trans rights, turning the pageant into a broader statement on social issues and gender politics. Wilson being Miss South Carolina, alongside a ton of notable celebrities like Tommy Dorfman who was Miss West Virginia.

The show was the perfect backdrop for Wilson’s fashion week debut as she is known to speak out about trans issues and this current government’s attack on minorities across the board. She said in our special edition cover: “Obviously, it's not just trans people that are affected by the current administration,” and mentions “marginalized groups such as undocumented immigrants and people of color. [I’m] really trying to do more advocacy on that front, since the current administration has kind of been like a wrecking ball in that regard.”

So, seeing her shine in a red gown, gold accessories, with a fun pair of drop-down earrings, walking in a more acting-heavy presentation was an absolute treat.
