Hello there, Teen Vogue readers! It’s time for introductions and new #content. I’m Bianca Nieves, Teen Vogue’s commerce editor, and from now on in this weekly franchise I’ll be sharing what you should be buying. This week's edition is all about which trends you should consider investing in now, while you’re figuring out what your spring and summer aesthetic will look like, as well as some beauty finds that are to die for (we’re not exaggerating).
This spring, I’m all about jumping on the tie-dye bandwagon, but with an unexpected twist. Instead of going full-on camp counselor, I want to incorporate tie-dye in different pieces to elevate it more. I’m looking for cute blouses, bags, dresses, and this Topshop skirt really caught my eye. Not only is it HR-friendly with its midi length, it’s also the right amount of playful thanks to its psychedelic print.
My long hair means so much to me. I even wrote about it here. Lately, though, my knots have been getting out of hand, and my after-shower combing ritual has become quite a hassle (and workout). I already own a Wet Brush, which has saved me from yanking out my hair, but I’ve been eyeing this Wet Brush Detangling Comb for a while, and this is the week when I will use it to finally (and literally) divide and conquer my knots.
Ever since I saw Miaou’s embroidered pieces, I knew I wanted one, but my bank account did (read: could) not agree. So when I was scrolling Nordstrom’s latest arrivals like it’s my job (because it is) and spotted these Madewell daisy-embroidered trousers, I was instantly drawn to them. Imagine how cute they’ll look with a crisp, white top (sans ice cream stains).
Cosrx Pimple Master patches was one of our 2017 acne-fighting award winners, and for good reason. They’re aren’t new, but for some, pimples are always in season. For example, I got a few pimple friends after a week of too much dairy. But as soon as our newsletter editor said, and I quote, “I live for these patches,” I knew I had to purchase them myself.
My undereye circles are hereditary, so there isn’t much I can do about them. But this Origins eye cream really brightens up my circles and leaves them hydrated all day. Plus, orange is my favorite color, so the packaging is ace.
After seeing my friend roll her face every morning before starting her makeup routine, and after going through some out-of-the-blue skin flare-ups on my face, I knew I had to give this ice roller a chance. I wasn’t disappointed. You get all the soothing ice can provide without the mess, and it’s quite therapeutic. If you like jade rollers, you’ll love this. Trust me.
