For PaleyFest in Los Angeles this weekend Black-ish actress Yara Shahidi wore two big spring trends together — a wide-leg jumpsuit and satin bomber jacket — and the result was a cool, playful outfit we can’t wait to copy.
The key to recreating this look for yourself? Proportions and color. The pairing of Yara’s wide-leg Christina Economou jumpsuit with the bomber jacket looks polished and fun because the blue-on-blue layering doesn’t overwhelm the eye and the fit of the jumpsuit isn’t lost under the open jacket. Best of all? Both pieces are worthy spring investments that you can wear over and over again individually and mix in with other seasonal favorites like eyelet dresses, lace-up sandals and denim skirts.
