Amanda Steele is an expert at adding little details that make a big difference, so it’s no surprise her prom tip involves a great lash trick. “Adding great strip lashes to your look will make you prom ready!” she says. “My favorite are the Ardell Whispies. I find that doing a natural eye with beautiful lashes looks so much better than trying to do a dark, dramatic look for prom.”

Canela Trigueros, proves you don’t have to spend a lot on makeup to achieve a fab look. In a full tutorial, the star shows how to pull off a statement eye and bold brow using only drugstore finds. “I love this look because gold glitter will look amazing with any neutral colored prom dress!” she explains. “I used a Wet N Wild gold glitter for my lids, Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation, Nyx Cosmetics Microbrow Pencil, and NYC Liquid Eye Liner.”

No blue shadows or red lips here! Raye Boyce knows sometimes it’s important to have makeup that works with any ensemble. “I like a classic smoky eye with a subtle lip,” she says. “It can be worn with any look for prom.”

“Prom season is a great time to create a glam, dewy look,” says Patricia Bright. “For the eyes I would use warm pink and brown shadows with a touch of pink glitter, like the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye and Cheek Palette for that extra glam. Prom is all about looking your best and wearing looks that can't be worn every day. A simple winged liner would complete the look along with some wispy sultry lashes. I would recommend a bronzed finish for the face, like Bobbi Brown’s Bronze Glow, without a hard contour. For the lips, I'd go for a nice cool neutral pink/nude like YSL Rogue Volute Shine Lipstick in Trapeze Pink — and voila prom ready!“

For Melissa Merk, it’s all about being herself. “I like to stick to makeup I know works for me rather then trying out a new look and looking back at photos in regret,” she explains. For her look, she went with a shimmering smoky eye and a pale pink lip — glam at its best!

“In high school, I did my own makeup for formal dances every year,” says Lindsey Rempalski. “My go-to look was always sharp winged liner and nude lipstick. I love this look because it is classic and will go with any dress and hair combination.
