Zoë Kravitz Designs Her Very First Jewelry Collection

"I'll send it to Jen!" Zoë Kravitz excitedly announces, referring to her new Swarovski Crystallized jewelry collection and girl crush-of-the-moment Jennifer Lawrence. "She's awesome."

With fun, famous friends and a killer sense of style, Zoë is an It girl through and through. It was this quality and her trademark earthy look that attracted the attention of Swarovski. She created pieces for the crystal giant that reflect her boho vibe; the meant-to-be-layered designs are rendered in silver and turquoise, which also happens to be Zoë's birthstone.

"I wanted to capture the colors and textures of vibrant places I want to go, like Morocco and India," she explains. "These are pieces for someone who's exploring and trying to figure themselves and the world out. They have a carefree spirit and do their own thing."

Price-point was also a crucial aspect to Zoë: "I don't feel comfortable buying super-expensive pieces for myself! It's really important to me that everyone is able to buy the collection. It's not just for certain people, it's for everybody."

And she's already thinking about what's next. If she were to do another Swarovski collection, she would want to "go more old Hollywood." Clothing design isn't out of the realm of possibility either. "I would love to work with Alex," she says. Alex who? Her good pal Alexander Wang, of course.

We certainly wouldn't be opposed to such a collab. "If you take fashion too seriously, then you lose the fun of it," she says. "I think you should always be taking risks, and if you look silly, it's fine! They're clothes — you can take them off!" Zoë really is a girl after our own style-loving hearts.
