I started writing a beauty blog in 2009 because I was far too scared to start making my own videos. Once I gained quite a few readers, I braved videos because I thought the people who read my blog might be interested to watch me in action. Soon, I'd become confident enough to post them more regularly.
What's your beauty philosophy?
As cheesy as it sounds, nothing beats a smile and a bit of confidence! As long as you feel good on the inside, you can still look beautiful without any makeup at all.

I love watching other beauty girls on YouTube, so I get a lot of ideas through their videos. I also get plenty of requests from viewers, which is great. I can never run out of ideas!
Who are a few of your favorite fashion and beauty vloggers and why do you love their channels?
A few of my favorites are SprinkleofGlitter, Pixi2woo, EssieButton, ViviannaDoesMakeup, and WhatIHeartToday. I feel like we have similar tastes in beauty and fashion and they have such bubbly personalities that it makes watching them so much fun!

Don't worry about what other people may think of you. Be yourself and try not to think of anyone else watching you, and your confidence will grow as you go on. Have fun, enjoy it, and talk about the things you love!

I have MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation, Benefit Coralista Blush, Nars Isolde Eyeshadow Duo, Stila Smudge Stick, Benefit Erase Paste, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, Nars Laguna Bronzer, MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish Highlighter, and a variety of Topshop Lipsticks. A girl can never have too many lipstick options!
What’s your favorite hairstyle to create?
I love to do a messy top knot because it’s so easy but looks like it could have taken a bit of effort! I’m also loving fishtail braids and messy high ponytails at the moment. I’m definitely more of an updo kind of girl.
