Face
The key to getting the perfect zombie look is making sure that your skin looks as pale as possible. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics makeup artist Emily Ansel recommends applying a white face paint using a sponge or foundation brush. "Make sure you start by prepping your skin with your preferred moisturizer and then with primer," she says.

Lips
"Zombie lips should be pallid and fleshy," says Ansel. Those with lighter skin should apply a pink lip color that has blue undertones while those with darker skin tones should use a beige shade. Make sure your lip color is matte to keep the makeup from looking too glam.

Face
After you’ve covered your entire face and neck in white makeup, blend a small amount of black face paint under your cheekbones with a sponge or brush to create a hollow look. When blended with the white, the black paint should appear gray.

Eyes
Apply loose red pigment all over the eyelid, blending it into the crease and under the lower lash line as well. Then, take a shimmery black pigment and apply this into just the crease of the eye.
"This gives the eye socket the illusion of being more skeletal," explains Ansel. "Take the same color and apply it from the tear ducts to the bridge of the nose to create more depth. You can even apply it to the cheeks to add a vampy effect."

Lips
"To create easy-to-apply, long-wearing blood effects, use a red lip color instead of body paint," advises Ansel. Apply the red color where necessary.
