Sorority girls often get a bad rap for being superficial or mean, but take it from this former chapter president when I say we're really all about friendships, philanthropy, and duh, food. While we might take #manicuremonday very seriously, there are a lot of other important things that being in a sorority entails. From nights on the couch to nights on the dance floor, sororities have their own special way of doing things, and you'll only really understand them if you're currently in, or used to be part of one of these over-sized all female super squads.

5.) But learning songs and rituals for nationals is the worst thing ever...

7.) The importance of a good synchronized dance routine to pull at any festivity...
8.) Or the fact that sometimes the best nights consist of Netflix, face masks, and eating 5 pints of ice cream
9.) Sorority girls also know that when it comes time to pick a little sister, you have to choose wisely...
10.) And that you will be covered in glitter when making crafts for said little
11.) Sorority girls understand that being able able to assemble a good group pose quickly is crucial
12.) That getting ready to go out is a group effort in which everyone is involved
13.) Should you be going to an event where your horrible ex might be, sorority girls know just how to strut to make that person sorry for what they did...
14.) And of course sorority girls understand the importance of throwing up your sorority sign whenever possible...
15.) The power of customized and matching T-shirts...
16.) And that the most fun part of the night is coming home to eat with your girls...
17.) Basically, they understand that doing anything is more fun in a big group of your friends...
18.) I guess the only thing sorority girls don't understand is why wouldn't want to join in on the fun
