Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie is on his way to becoming an A24 boy, and his reported castmates have made the pilgrimage to Studio 8H to support him during his SNL debut.
Following the whirlwind that has been season one of Heated Rivalry, Connor Storrie was reportedly in talks to land his first role post-HR in A24's upcoming movie Peaked. First announced in 2025, Peaked is Molly Gordon's sophomore directorial project following 2023's Theater Camp, in which she also starred alongside Noah Galvin, Ben Platt, Jimmy Tatro, Patti Harrison, Ayo Edebiri, and Owen Thiele, among others. (You might also recognize Gordon from The Bear, where she plays Claire.)
For Peaked, Gordon has joined forces with Allie Levitan, a writer for FX's Adults and, coincidentally, currently for Saturday Night Live. The duo, who are best friends IRL, are set to co-direct, co-write, and co-star in the project, which is, understandably, already generating major buzz.
If you don't want to miss an update about Peaked, we've gathered all the information we have so far about the project below.
When is A24's Peaked coming out?
At the time of writing, A24's Peaked does not have a tentative release date yet. When it was first announced, Peaked was slated to begin production in 2025. However, according to Deadline, the project reportedly began shooting in February 2026, so we might get an updated time frame soon.
What will A24's Peaked be about?
According to Deadline, Peaked will follow the story of “the two girls who traumatized you in high school as they try to relive their glory days at their 10-year reunion.” Not much else is known about the movie; however, speaking to Elle, Gordon described it as “funny and heart-forward.”
Who is in the cast of A24's Peaked?
Though details about their roles are being kept under wraps, we know the cast of Peaked is shaping up quite nicely. Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie was announced as “in talks” to join the project in mid-February. The project will also reunite Sex Education alums Simone Ashley and Emma Mackey. The former has gone on to star in Bridgerton, while the latter is soon to appear in Greta Gerwig's long-anticipated Narnia adaptations for Netflix.
The cast is rounded off by Laura Dern, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, and Levon Hawke, son of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, and younger brother of Stranger Things alum Maya Hawke. Aside from directing and writing, Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan will also star in the movie.
Though Storrie's casting has yet to be made official, it seems more a reality than a dream. On March 1, Ashley posted a photo of herself alongside Mackey, Gordon, and Levitan from the set of SNL, where Storrie had made his debut as a host the night before.
