The next stop on Teen Vogue cover star Alysa Liu's celebratory tour? The Oscars 2026 weekend! The Olympic gold medalist arrived on the award show after-party red carpets wearing a chic suit and a stunning sparkly dress.
At the Vanity Fair Oscars 2026 Party, Liu donned a Louis Vuitton mini shift dress in a charcoal hue covered in shimmering beading and tights over her point-toe heels. The dress also featured large shoulder pads, which highlighted her curly halo hair that was tied in an updo. She opted for glowy base makeup and topped it with pink blush and an ultra glossy lip to match, which perfectly accented her smiley piercing. On the eyes, she opted for smokey eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and clustered eyelashes.
Prior, for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars watch party, Liu wore a black suit, complete with a white mock neck blouse with oversized sleeves. As for accessories, she wore matching black point-toe shoes. On the beauty front, she opted for a twist on her typical look. Her halo dyed hair was styled down in tousled soft curls.
Prior to her Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars 2026 party appearance, Liu was in France for the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week on March 10. There, she wore a matching denim set with an east-west bag and styled her hair in soft waves. Then, she headed back home to Oakland, California to accept the key to the city on March 12. For the special occasion, she donned a black button-up top and baggy gray jeans.
Known for her alt style, Alysa Liu has gone against the figure skating world's status quo. For example, she told Teen Vogue in her cover story, her costume for her “Stateside” routine at the Olympic gala was inspired by the character Madoka Kaname from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. “I love the shape, so I had to throw it in there,” she said. “I just love that show so much. I've watched it twice. But I really like the colors and the art style.” And now that she's showing off her sense of fashion on major red carpets like this one, her impact continues!
