Almost two decades since the original teen comedy Mean Girls dropped, the Mean Girls musical movie is officially in theaters. To celebrate the premiere, American Eagle has launched a super fetch collab with Paramount Pictures' Mean Girls, so get in loser because we are going shopping.
When it first premiered in 2004, Mean Girls instantly became a pop culture staple, influencing everything from music to fashion — let's be honest, we all probably wore pink on a Wednesday at some point — and the new musical film is now picking up the baton. The new AE x Mean Girls collection takes movie merch beyond the screen to new levels. Featuring denim items and graphic t-shirts with taglines from our favorite North Shore high schoolers, the collection has something for everyone. A few notable mentions: an Oversized Zip-Up Glen Coco Hoodie, A Little Bit Dramatic Cropped Tee, and Graphic Cropped Tee with the tagline "personally victimized by Regina George." (Raise your hand!)
The Mean Girls shop online has also curated style edits so you can dress like your favorite mean girl. These include "Kind-Of Psychic" Karen; Queen Bee Regina; "The Limit Does Not Exist" Cady, and "That's So Fetch" Gretchen. There is even an AE-style edit for Former-Plastics Janis.
The AE x Mean Girls collection is already live on AE.com. Check out some of our favorite pieces from the collection below:
