If you're a celebrity, posing for a Gap campaign is basically like a rite of passage. Apple Martin can now check this timeless honor off her list, as the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin is the new face of GapStudio's fall-winter 2025 Collection 03.
Apple Martin stars in the campaign alongside her mom, both wearing head-to-toe GapStudio designed by Zac Posen. The photos were shot by Mario Sorrenti, and in one of the shots, which is exclusive to Teen Vogue, Martin poses in a pink satin dress with flutter sleeves, holding an apple.
“When I think of Gap, I think of growing up with it,” Martin shares in a statement. “When I was little, I was always dressed in Gap Kids, and I’ve loved clothes since I was that age.”
Her mom confirms the longtime love. “Gap has always been part of my family’s life,” Paltrow says. “It’s classic and effortless, and Zac [Posen, EVP and creative director] has brought a fresh perspective that makes the brand more wearable than ever.”
Martin and Paltrow also appear in a short video directed by LOOK & Julian Klincewicz; the collection was partially inspired by Paltrow's style in the ‘90s, and the video reflects the idea of Martin swiping pieces from her mom’s closet and how personal style can be passed down and remixed from generation to generation. In one of the photos, Martin and Paltrow pose in black and white wearing button-down shirts: dark for Paltrow and lighter for Martin.
“This campaign and collection are about connection through style,” Posen explained. “They reflect how clothing moves through time, borrowed, reinterpreted, and made personal. The collection itself was inspired by the feeling of '90s New York – the music, the energy, the mix of elegance and edge — a moment when modernism and nostalgia collided to create a new style language. That spirit comes through in the pieces: tailoring with presence, sculptural denim, and satin that brings movement and ease. It’s a capsule designed to carry forward, season after season.”
The collection, which drops on October 2, includes everything from sheer turtlenecks to vegan patent leather crop jackets and mini skirts, satin dresses like the one Martin wears in the shot shown above, shared exclusively with Teen Vogue, as well as cropped cardigans and poplin belted maxi shirtdresses. Prices range from $54 to $298.
