Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét go way back, and now Grande is celebrating her friend and longtime collaborator's Grammys 2024 win and critical success for her recent album Jaguar II.
“My friend, you deserve this one million times over @victoriamonet !!!!! i am so deeply proud of and happy for you there are no words. you have worked so hard and given so much of yourself to this industry for so, so long while quietly being in your absolute own league,” Grande wrote on Instagram after it was announced that Monét won Best R&B Album at the Grammys.

The pair met when Grande was still on Victorious and their friendship was immediate; Monét has since written with Grande on several albums, co-penning tracks like “7 Rings," “Winter Things,” and “34+35.” Monét has simultaneously written her own albums and released consistently exciting solo projects, most recently her Jaguar and Jaguar II projects. She's nominated for seven Grammys this year.

“We've talked about this happening since the day we met and over many tour bus sleepovers,” Ariana Grande continued. On the Grammys 2024 red carpet, Victoria Monét was shown Grande's praise for her and had the sweetest response. “I do not want to cry, oh my god…” she said, holding her daughter Hazel in her arms. "I love you Ari, thank you for being a believe and supporting me from the beginning … you've been so ride or die."
