Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have reportedly split after two years of marriage.
TMZ reports that the couple have allegedly been separated since January and are planning for a divorce. TMZ also reports that Grande has been spotted out sans her engagement and wedding ring on recent occasions — including Wimbledon 2023 this past weekend — leading to speculation that the couple had parted ways. Grande has been in England filming the Wicked movie for much of the past year, and hasn't publicly posted about Gomez since late 2022. Per TMZ, a “reconciliation" between the couple was allegedly attempted “a few months back,” but ultimately failed.
Page Six spoke to another unnamed source who claimed there's no bad blood between the pair. “They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.” The source also said the pair is trying to keep their split low-key. “They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.”
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez started dating in early 2020 and spent the early months of the pandemic together, got engaged later that year and married in a super small, private ceremony at Grande's home in Montecito, California in May 2021, with Grande wearing custom Vera Wang. The two have kept their relationship extremely private, with the musician sharing just a few glimpses at their life together. Prior to Gomez, Grande was engaged to Pete Davidson for several months in 2018, but called off the extremely high-profile relationship and engagement that October.
Of course, until this news is confirmed or denied by Grande, Gomez or their respective reps, it's just speculation for now. Teen Vogue has reached out to Grande's team for more information, but they did not immediately respond with comment.
