Ariana Grande fans (and really, most fandoms for that matter) are pretty excellent at sniffing out a conspiracy theory or two. And last night was no exception, as Arianators were absolutely convinced she would be releasing new music at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Just a few weeks ago, Ariana was posting teasers on Instagram stories letting us know that new music is, indeed, on the way. Last year, we got a short glimpse of what the music could be (there was another video she posted in which you repeatedly hear 'You can feel it, feel it' with the caption: 'See you next year'). But fans were speculating that a surprise debut was afoot because her Dangerous Woman website was disabled hours before the show. (Sound familiar?) By the time the show was live, fans were really hoping a debut was in the cards.
As we now know, such was not the case, and disappointment has expectedly abounded.

Regardless, she is likely working on new mkusic, so the question is really a matter of when, not if. We'll just have to keep a keen eye out for teasers over the coming weeks!
