Ariana Grande is more than ready for spooky season. The musician and actor rang in Halloween 2023 early with an adorable, super low-key gathering at home alongside her brother Frankie and a few friends, and now we're really ready for the onslaught of celeb costumes.

Ariana Grande shared a few pics from her party on Instagram Stories, and it looks like makeup was the theme of the night. (That tracks, given Grande is the owner of her own beauty line, r.e.m. beauty.) She and her guests are basically in their normal clothes, with Grande first posing in a gray sweatshirt and cat ears, then changing into a cloud of frothy baby-pink tulle. She's wearing the coolest dotted liner with gemstones on the creases of her lids and her signature winged liner on her lashlines — a simple but fun detail for the occasion. Frankie, on the other hand, is rocking super bold, dark brows, silvery blue eyeshadow, and lipstick.

Sure, these aren't really costumes in the traditional sense of the word, though it does look like Grande is wearing a piece of Glinda's Wicked wardrobe in one shot, but maybe it's a test run for the holiday itself, or maybe the friends were just having fun with some r.e.m. products. Sometimes a party is about the company, not the costumes!
