We're still many months away from the premiere of part one of Wicked, but Ariana Grande and her costar Cynthia Erivo have already begun dressing like their onscreen characters, Glinda and Elphaba, for press engagements and promo. At 2024 CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Grande took the all-pink everything look one step further and transformed herself into a literal flower in a hyperrealistic floral minidress that Glinda would love.

The dress in question is a strapless Oscar de la Renta design that is more full-on flower than actual dress; the entire bodice is a giant pink and white flower, with more concentrated color at the tips of the "petals."

The dress hit a few inches above Grande's knees, as minidresses are her preferred silhouette. It's whimsical, but still elegant thanks to the pale pink and white color palette and slimmer-fitting style; this isn't a Glinda ballgown, but rather a springy cocktail dress.

Because the dress was so elaborate, Grande styled it with simple white pumps and delicate drop earrings. Her golden blonde Glinda hair was pulled back into a loose knot, and she wore pink lip gloss with glimmering sparkles dotted around her eyes for a touch of magic. (Do you think she sealed her makeup with the ONE/SIZE Glinda glitter spray?)

Get ready to see a lot more pink on Grande throughout the Wicked promotional tour. She and Erivo started the themed dressing at the Super Bowl in pink and green jerseys, then continued it at the Oscars, with Grande in a billowing pastel pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture and Erivo in custom emerald green Louis Vuitton.

We love a theme moment, and if these initial looks are any indication, Ariana Grande's red carpet dressing is only going to get pinker. Do you think she'll show up to the premiere in a bubble? Fingers crossed!
