And the placement couldn’t be more out there.

While filming for the upcoming live adaptation of Wicked may be on pause due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Ariana Grande still has Galinda/Glinda on the brain. In a new interview with Allure, the star revealed a fresh new hand tattoo of the iconic Good Witch. Ariana Grande, who plays the character in the movie version of the beloved Broadway musical, even uses "Galinda" as her Zoom name, so it's not at all surprising that she'd get a permanent memento of the witch on her body.

When asked about her tattoo planning, Grande shared that she's pretty impulsive about her ink. "That's hard because when they come to me, I just get them," she explained. "This one I knew I wanted to get for a very long time," she then admitted, revealing her new Wicked tattoo. The Glinda tattoo in question is tatted on the back of her right hand and is inspired by the character from L. Frank Baum's original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz book.

“I waited forever to fill up this hand. And I thought, 'I'm gonna wait for the right thing to come along,' and yeah, that felt very right,” Grande elaborated about her Glinda tat. (She often uses tattoos to mark special moments in her life, and she has a plethora of ink on her body, including quotes, butterflies, and even a Pokémon.)

The tattoo must be relatively fresh because she did not have it during her appearance at Wimbledon in July. We haven't seen a photo of it yet, but we'll keep our eyes peeled at all Grande-related content in the coming weeks because it sounds adorable.

Grande also shared that her biggest beauty extravagance isn't tattoos but a good old-fashioned soak in the bathtub. "I mean, my favorite thing in the whole world is a long bath," she shared. "I'm a Cancer: watery, must be submerged as long, as often as possible." Hopefully, the fresh tat is not going in the water while she's having some quality tub time in her off time.
