Barry Keoghan is taking a lesson from the Tom Holland school of loving his girlfriend by once again gushing over Sabrina Carpenter. Fresh off of the singer's Grammy nominations, she's getting an outpouring of support from her fans, as well as boyfriend Barry.

The actor appeared on The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham on SiriusXM Radio this week and it wasn't long before the interviewers pivoted to Carpenter's six Grammy nominations. Cagle and Cunningham brought up that Carpenter was nominated for her hit song, “Please, Please, Please,” which features Keoghan as the love interest in the music video. The hosts congratulated Keoghan for being part of a Grammy-nominated song.

“Absolutely frickin brilliant, lads,” Keoghan said, in his thick Irish accent. “I mean… I'm really, really happy for her.”

Keoghan then joked that they were putting him “on the spot” and that he had to “get on the phone” with Carpenter soon before telling them how hard-working she is.

“I don't know anybody who works as hard, you know, I'm in awe of her,” he continued. "Watching her work and how committed and the standards that she sets, you know. Especially being on that music video just, she knows the vision, she knows what she wants."

Cagle then joked that he likes to think that the music video, which centers around Carpenter constantly bailing Keoghan out of jail, is based on true events — adding that Carpenter has saved Keoghan “from a life of crime.”

“I'm not a bad good, I'm a good boy," Keoghan laughed.

Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter have remained pretty private about their romance since being linked together earlier this year. The couple have been spotted with one another several times, including at major events like the Met Gala and the Oscars. Carpenter may walk away with her very first Grammy award this year, despite having six studio albums. Her recent project, Short n' Sweet has by far become her most popular album. In an Instagram post following the announcement this week, Carpenter wrote, “I’d be lying if i said i hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so i am filled with gratitude- Thank you.”
